Otamatone Studio is the official app for the note-shaped instrument Otamatone. It is a multimedia app for Android devices that allows you to connect your Otamatone Techno or Otamatone neo to a smartphone and play it with the sound of various instruments or jam along to built-in rhythms. The app is designed to simplify the complexities of most available synthesizer simulations, making it easy for beginners to master. You can access all functions via a cute graphical interface that feels like your Otamatone called over a few friends for a basement jam.
The app supports two models: Otamatone neo and Otamatone Techno. The free version of the app comes with three different instruments - Otamatone, Electric Guitar, and Alto Sax - and three scales - Otamatone, 12 Tone, and Minor Blues. The full version of the app unlocks additional instruments, scales, and effects. You can also choose between different built-in rhythms to play along to. Additionally, the app features a virtual keyboard and the Otamatone on the main screen moves its mouth during your performance, adding a cute touch to your experience.
